Wayne, Church Rd.
1913
Currently home of the Chanticleer Foundation
Chanticleer was designed by Zantzinger, Borie & Medary for Adolph G. Rosengarten. Rosengarten was a drug maker. The estate has recently become Wayne’s “pleasure garden,” a place for locals to go and relax. It is one of the few estates that is open to the public (for a small fee, of course).
