The Centennial Celebration has been in full swing lately, with the Memorial Day parade, Fourth of July parade and upcoming Fall Festival. The Centennial logo, designed by this site's webmaster, has been featured on flags, magnets, pins, shirts, banners in downtown Wayne, and even has been blown up in this year's Fourth of July fireworks at the High School. In other news: A new facade for the business block has been erected at the new Robertson's Flowers store. The facade replaces the one that had probably been there since the block-long building's erection in 1890. Fortunately, Robertson's has kept the basic shape of the storefront intact.
