Radnor Fire Company Re-Acquires Engine

August 23 2002

Another belated note: the Radnor Fire Co. recently was able to locate a fire engine which they got in the 1950's and sold to a Vermont fire co. in the 1970's. The engine was still in working condition, and under layers of bright yellow paint, Radnor's name could still be found. The engine was purchsed by the company, and will be used in the upcoming 2006 Fire Co. centennial celebrations. The history of the engine, including current photos and a newspaper report from when the engine was originally pruchased, will soon be posted on the fire co. page.
