Radnor Township has been talking for a couple weeks now about builidng a new township building to replace their current headquarters on Iven Ave. Many neighbors and residents of Radnor have protested against the proposed design, saying it is too modern in appearance and conforms too closely with other modern office buildings. The current Radnor Township building, about 30 years old, is now considered by many to be unattractive in appearance. This building was a very modern design at the time it was constructed, as is the proposed design. In a few years won't we all think of this design as ugly? Radnor needs a building which reflects its historic heritage, not something which will look outdated in a few decades. The architects should look at the designs from Radnor's past and draw upon them.
