This rare postcard, dated 1898, is not a picture postcard, but rather a public notice advertising an upcoming event at the Hall of the Wayne Public Safety Association. It refers to the Fire Company building, but this card predates the Fire Company by 8 years. At this time the building was used by the Public Safety Association (South Wayne's version of the NWPA) as its headquarters.
