Most of the postcards on this page were published in the early 20th century. Most of these were published and sold by C.W. Bensinger, a stationary store owner in the Lancaster Avenue business block of Wayne. The cards on this page highlight the businesses of Wayne's past.

The old Wayne Title & Trust Co. building on the corner of Lancaster and Audubon Aves.
The original Title & Trust Co. building is gone, but the Company's 1930 building is on the same site. The front of the original building faced what is now the side of the property.

The Wayne Title and Trust Co. building has changed very little in appearance, although several different companies have recently occupied it.

An advertising card to Young & Kaber, which was located on Lancaster Ave.

Another advertising card for Young & Kaber.

A very unusual card, which is probably an advertisement of some kind. Depicted is a man, evidently named Paul Croomins, sitting in a chair holding a cat, next to an Edison phonograph.

Another very unusual advertising postcard. It was produced for the Chester Valley farms, and appears to depict a dog nursing a piglet. Very odd indeed.

The Lamp Post Inn, on Lancaster Ave. in Strafford.

A generic german postcard, featuring a child and a telephone. These cards are common for many towns; these cards were produced in bulk and town names were written in.
